The iGEN Film Festival is a youth organization dedicated to educating our youth about the magic in front of and behind the lens through our annual 4-day interactive events/activities. Our mission is to diminish the barriers to inclusion with the film industry while creating equitable platforms for growth and development. We are celebrating our 11th Annual Film Festival and welcome your support and contributions to this 4-day cinematic event; as it will not only help build awareness around emerging iGEN filmmakers but also help put a spotlight on the inspiring youth in film, arts, and culture.
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
For Elijah Wells, film has always been more than entertainment—it's a way to inspire, educate, and create opportunities for the next generation.
As the Founder & CEO of Elijah Wells Films, Elijah is an award-winning writer, producer, and actor whose work has been recognized by the American Black Film Festival, The Miami Times, and respected leaders throughout the entertainment industry, since the age of 11. His passion for storytelling and community led him to launch the iGen Film Festival in Historic Overtown, Miami, with one mission: to give young filmmakers a platform to learn, grow, and share their stories with the world.

Today, iGen has become more than a film festival—it's a movement that connects youth with industry professionals, celebrates diverse voices, and opens doors for the next generation of storytellers.
As we celebrate the 11th Annual iGen Film Festival, Elijah remains committed to empowering young creatives, strengthening communities through film, and proving that every story deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
